Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Content Media to join our marketing team on a freelance basis. This role is central to creating and executing innovative, customer-focused media strategies supporting major content launches and high-profile entertainment projects. The successful candidate will play a key part in enhancing audience engagement and elevating brand presence through cutting-edge media campaigns. Must be fluent in Spanish.

Location: Newark, NJ (1x per week onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the design and implementation of integrated media campaigns across multiple channels for flagship content and entertainment initiatives.
  • Partner with marketing and creative teams to develop innovative media approaches that amplify content visibility and consumer impact.
  • Lead collaboration with agency partners and internal stakeholders to ensure media strategies align with brand goals and business objectives.
  • Manage and optimize campaign budgets, forecasting and analyzing return on investment for key launches.
  • Work alongside media vendors to co-develop unique and engaging media concepts that maximize cross-platform reach.
  • Utilize analytics and testing frameworks to measure campaign effectiveness and inform ongoing media decisions.
  • Explore and integrate emerging digital and traditional marketing channels to advance media planning and execution.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of senior media leadership experience, preferably within entertainment marketing.
  • Proven track record managing successful media campaigns for major entertainment releases or tentpole projects.
  • Strong expertise in both traditional and digital media, with familiarity in emerging platforms and innovative marketing tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing and aligning diverse teams.
  • Experience in social media and influencer marketing related to entertainment content is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of the entertainment industry, including talent relations and intellectual property, is advantageous.
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA in marketing, business, or related fields is a plus.
  • Fluency in Spanish required
