CDR is a civil engineering and land development management company located in Costa Mesa, California. Established in 2007, CDR offers a wide range of services including civil engineering, dry utilities, and landscape architecture. We serve both corporate developers and individual landowners, providing client-focused and results-driven solutions. Role Description

This is a full-time in-office role for an Associate Civil Engineer. As an Associate Civil Engineer at CDR, you will be responsible for preparing plans under the guidance of a Project Manager. You will work closely with the project team to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Positive attitude and strong willingness to continually learn and grow
  • Committed to teamwork and project deadlines
  • Research, interpret and apply city standards, codes and zoning requirements as it applies to sites
  • Prepare title sheets, Erosion Control Plan, Survey, Site Improvement Plan and Fire Master Plan under direction of Project Manager
  • Communicate with agencies and plan checkers
  • Prepare comment response letters
  • Adherence to CDR standard and core values

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and codes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Experience in AutoCad
  • EIT license preferred
